Ha! With you it would be necessary to ask if it's getting fretted.

Funnily enough I have a 10 to 1 ratio fretted to fretless guitars...

Do you prefer playing one type over another? Or, is it just a different style?

Nice, Ed. Chambered? I have a chambered spruce topped tele. I went with a top binding as sprice is so soft I wanted to protect the edge. But I didn't have a forearm contour.

Really cool looking maple - such straight grain - I can see why someone first guessed spruce. Can't wait to see the subtleties once it gets stained.

Looking forward to more progress pics!

My preference is fretted most of the time since I get paid for it. :)

This one actually isn't. It's suppossd to be my Tele Paul. :)

What bridge are you putting on it and what special request did you make on the Fralin humbuckers? I'm still using Fralin humbuckers in my Les Paul and I will never take them out of that guitar. If I need something different it will be time to buy another guitar.

Isn`t it funny but it seems all players seem to come back to a Tele type of guitar in the end. I`m right w/ you, even though mine are just G&L Asats. I think Leo basically got it right the first time. It`s fun to see all the other builders take on this design. Me I`m gassing for a Hamer Talladega next. Best of luck w/ your new axe!

Should look fantastic (I think that for stage work, silver sparkle is one of my favorite finishes - love how they catch and throw light) - but still think that the top is pretty killing as is.

Keep us posted,
Cheers,

Oops! You just lost me! Sorry to cast a negative opinion, but that wood just looks too nice to bugger with and I'm not a sparkle kind of guy... but that's just me...

Good luck with it.
