HI , this is my first post so I may be a little vague,My problem is I have bought a set of valves for a Trace Elliot Trident amp (100watt combo) the EL34 power valves are a matched set but still need biasing supposedly this is easy on the Trident as its has adjustment points available...but what the hell do I do? bear in mind I'm just a plank spanker!...seriously any help will be truely appreciated...Optomisma............

Yep, if you're not familiar with high voltage safety, a bias probe that allows you to bias the amp without opening it up (I presume you mean the bias adjust pot is accessible from outside the chassis) is the way to go. If you open it up and start poking with it you can hurt or kill yourself if you don't know what you are doing.
