Korg Pitch Black Pedal Tuner

"As far as it being smaller, the DT-10 is 4.09" wide, with top jacks. This new tuner is 2.68" wide, with side jacks. So the width difference is actually negligible / no different. In fact, if you're using G&H rt. angle plugs, the new Korg will probably be wider."

Well i usually stagger my pedals, so side jacks dont matter as much to me. It reminded me of the size of the planet waves tuner which is alot smaller in person.

I haven't noticed in any of the specs how accuractly it tunes - is it +/- 1% like the DT-10, or something else? It worries me that they don't list this very important spec.

Also, what is the deal with the extra jack(s) on the front of the pedal? Is this supposed to be an easy access input? It just looks like easy access for spilt beer to me...

Still, I love my DT-10, but a Korg tuner with TB.... :D

that's not a jack on the top/front, just a weird pic of the footswitch!

as far as size, a lot of people only use the input on their tuner (off of a looper or volume pedal), so it works out well for that.

Yeah, I can't believe they took so long to come out with a true bypass tuner pedal. I'll wait for the pedal version of the Turbo Tuner, though.

Man, this is exactly what I was thinking. No listing of it's accuracy is a red flag, at least. Also, it doesn't sound like you can do Buzz Feiten tuning or any other temperments. It's amazing to me that with all the features that a lot of guitarist need/want, these company's don't offer these features. Could be that they're not going for this particular market.

Otherwise, it looks like a really cool tuner. Wish it had more features.

- It's +/- 1 cent, like the DT-10.
- It cannot do the Feiten tuning, but it can calibrate, like the DT-10.
- You get less LED segments to read / fine-tune with.
- You do get true bypass, FWIW.
- Depending on how you set it up on your board, it may take up less space than a DT-10.

Well the accurcay is good, true bypass is good, I really need to be able to do temperments though... dang!

Sounds like a great tuner for someone that doesn't use tempered tuning.

I have been using a TU-2 forever, and love how you can display the strings as numbers rather than letters. Can any other pedal tuner do this?
