How to Modify Effect Pedals for guitar and bass: A complete how-to package for the electronics newbie on how to modify guitar and bass effects pedals (http://www.amazon.com/Modify-Effect-Pedals-guitar-bass/dp/1434801063/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1201810624&sr=8-1) by Brian Wampler

Is it helpful and worth the $50? If you know a better way to learn to mod, please let me know!

Probably not a better way than to learn from Brian's stuff. He's a neat guy and offers great instructions. You don't have to know anything about electronics either. It's a great way to get started. Yes it's worth $50 IMO.

I've modified dozens of pedals with his instructions, with killer results.
