Hello!
I am booj. a name I aquired from my great love of boojie water. I'm 56, almost 57, and have been playing guitar since 1966. I like to build stuff and tinker, and am into DIY projects relating to playing gigs and jamming.
My latest projects include an 18 watt variable power 2204/MK2 dual channel clone, and an original overdrive box. I want to get a Ross comp. clone built, experiment with an octavia-like effect, a tremolo, and an analog chourus effect of some kind.
I do equipment repairs out of my home under Tone Love, and wonder if anybody out there has any "wait 'till you hear this" type repair humorous/nightmare stories.
I know DIY'ing has its share of strange occurances as well.
I'm gettin' kinda old to play ambitiously, but here's an example of where I'm at on somebody elses guitar, playing with somebody elses band, playing somebody elses song.

Ok, my first edit. I play a 2000 Strat with an ash body and rosewood fingerboard, through a Dunlop wah with a red fazel, a Digitech Main Squeeze compressor, an original design overdrive, a DS-1, an EH Holy Grail, an Ibanez DE7 delay, a Boss CE-5 chourus, a Fender tuner, a Happy Box, (another invention), and a volume box. (another invention)
