Just opened up the box on one, took it out of the beautiful case (actually it flew out it was so light) and it sounded good from there. Sure, a bit smaller sound than "regular" but the depth of the guitar gives it some muscle. Not going to trade my H or my D/PW in on it but it is a quality guitar. Did I say it is light?

I have played a Brazilian/cedar Firefly, and it was exceptional.

This was the standard one, the Brazilian one is supposed to be "all that" according to the latest Guitar Player. Ogre steps in and supports that...cool. Not sure if they'll ever get the Brazilian one but again the standard one is good enough.

I am a big fan of Santa Cruz guitars, but the best small guitar I have heard was a Froggy Bottom P12. Jamie Kinscherff(sp?) makes a killer L00 size guitar called the "Troubadour". I love big sounding small guitars, and good as the Firefly was, if I was dropping $$ on one, it would be one of the aforementioned.

May I ask for how much the standard one sells for?
