Hello

Just saw the Police tonight and it was a greattttttt show. Best show I have ever seen!

Sting had two large 8x10 Ampeg cabinets but I couldn't see his amp. I was up front too.
Does any know what amp Sting is using on this tour?

In this video for a year ago, at the club when they announced the world tour plans Sting's got a couple of Ampeg SVTs on those 8X10 cabinets.

Killer band, and his bass lines are SO powerful and efficient. I'm going to catch them this summer on the 2nd leg of the US Tour. My all time favorite band

Sting is a great pop songwriter, and a great frontman. He songs are really reminiscent of The Beatles in structure, but they have stronger rhythmic dynamic because of Stewart Copeland. Andy Summer's riffs remind me of George Harrison, but with a jazz/reggae slant all his own. Thanks for turning me on to this video clip. I saw The Police in 1981, when they were at their height of creative powers...it was a fantastic show then, and they still have that ole black magic going on!
