I was at a gig tonight and was using my Super Reverb RI. The sound just totally went out in middle.
During a break I was trying to figure out the problem and heres what i came up with. When the amp is on ten I got the volume that would normally come out with the amp on 2. Checked all the tubes and they were all glowing.I checked to make sure the speaker cables were conected and they were.
Any ideas as to what the problem is?
Blown fuse?
Thanks.

Bad power tubes. If the fuse was blown there would be no pilot light and no glowing tubes.
Try a new set of power tubes and see if that brings it back.
glowing tubes only means the filaments are working. If power tubes bring it back, get them biased before cranking on the amp.

What Phsyco said, except that it could be a preamp tube as well.

If both channels have the same problem the phase inverter tube (the 12AT7 closest to the power tubes) is also a suspect.

Try the normal channel.
