How much to ask for a mid-80s MIJ Strat?

My wife and I just recently purchased 2 new Strats (CP 50s & CP 60s) so I find myself with 1 too many Strats. We're looking to sell off some of our excess gear and I just don't play this Strat as much anymore. It is slightly 'reliced' (previous owner wore out a chunk own by the bottom strap post) and has a custom-made pickguard. I can post a pic later but right now I am just looking for a good ballpark figure for a starting point. White body w/ rosewood fingerboard.

Depends on the series, but I generally see these listed anywhere from $300-$500 depending on the condition.

It goes year by year.

The most expensive are the 83's with "Stratocaster" still on the headstock.

The earliest ones have a SN starting JV (Japanese Vintage).

I had an 84. Incredible build quality.

That's about all I know on 80's MIJ.
