put together a couple of bastard axes for MY enjoyment -- but it's cool if you appreciate them, too

first up is the V - fender texmex bridge, single coil toaster from a brownsville thug in the neck

next is the tele

old bill lawrence pup - beadblasted hardware - the body was an ebay find (mahogany) and was slathered in housepaint - the white came through as I was sanding it down and I liked the weatherbeaten look

I like the looks of that Tele!

I think I have that BL pickup. The receipt that was with is said that I bought in for $40 in 1980.

I've been hesitating to try it again, because I don't remember liking it's sound all that much. Sounded good enough in your clip, but mine kind of lacked something in my '69 Tele, so I didn't use it for very long.

omeone gave it to me a couple years back, and it's been sitting in my parts box ever since

it sounds ok, but I'll probably get a real tele pup in there eventually

Cool projects.

How do you make pickup selections on the Tele (or is the neck p/u gone now)?
