View Full Version : CA Coast lurker ousted from closet

Greetings!

I've been one of those invisible ones for the past year or so, and a (hopefully) good guitar purchase transaction here on TGP pushed me outta the closet to say hi. So hi!

I'm an anomaly here, I believe, and it's probably why I haven't introduced myself before. I've never been in an actual band, and I've never gigged before, but internet music collaborations have given me the juice to keep going. My real joys are songwriting, collaboration and production. My music tends to lean towards melodic rock/hard rock/metal.

Most of my music can be found at iCompositions.com (currently offline, but soon to rise from the ashes again). My tag is actually my internet band project -- we've actually put together 2 CDs, the latest being a double CD with 9 other artists from that music site. It can be found on CD Baby, for those of you suffering from insomnia.

Anywho, thanks for allowing the keystrokes, and hope to be posting more soon.

Jay

Hey Jay, glad to have you officially aboard! You are right in Ernie Ball country eh? Any mp3's you want to share with us to give us an idea of what your band sounds like?

Bill

Hi, Bill.

I am indeed. Enough so that my bass is a EBMM SUB 5, and one of my guitars is a JP6 Piezo.

All my music is on iCompositions.com, which recently had a crash, and is in the process of reloading its hard drive contents. So I can't point you there just yet. http://cdbaby.com/cd/fractalgarden2 has lo-fi clips of our latest CD. A mixture of alternative, electronica, rock and metal.

My recent lustings have been with symphonic metal. The following are my more recent collaborations, which have been posted on MacJams under different names (but it's me):

Time Traveler: http://www.macjams.com/song/37687

Thanks my friend, I will have to check out your music. My last internet collab from 4 years ago was a lot of fun I called it kinAxis, more pop/rock with heavy '80's influence. My current band is sort of a reunion, it is a prog band called Territorial Chant. Some of our tunes are at: www.soundlift.com/territorialchant. Heavier stuff is in the mixing process, lot's of fun to be in something creative again....

Just listened to the first tune, very BIG and lush, great job!!!!
