Whatever it was it completely nuked my blood sugar into oblivion. I almost passed out. I think it was the ultra-processed, empty calorie carbo-blaster combo. But we don't have W-houses by where we live, so whenever we trek south we have to hit one, despite it turning me into a diabetic immediately upon consumption. ;)

BarneyFife -- That's my Mirocaster. A friend painted the naked swamp ash body and headstock (with nitro), I sanded and clear coated. Neck is Carvin -- I think they make really good necks. Pickguard cut with a Dremel tool. Lollar pups. My first partscaster, and I couldn't be happier. Extremely versatile, sounds fantastic, plays great. I love the CC blade, both alone and in series and parallel.

It's cool man, I guess I took it the wrong way. Yes it is a Spruce HB, fantastic guitar, lot s of good tones, plays great, and super light, which is a prime consideration for us old farts :).

Actually Joseph that guitar was not a Gibson it was a copy made by CSL the sax player in the photo also played guitar and had a red double neck ........ I was only a kid in this photo so a Gibson was out of the question. :(
