Hi TZ,
I'm not Jack but I still would like to say that I really like the recording output with the speaker sim. Robbie at Custom Tones has put two of my tunes recorded direct with the speaker sim on the Ethos web site. I like the way I can use both picking dynamics and the old LC trick of using a volume pedal in front of it.

To be honest, I have only used it one time. Before a gig, I plugged it directly into my backup SS bass amp along with reverb to see if it would work and it sounded very good but I have not recorded with it or even tried it beyond that 5 minute test. I'll do some clips with it soon.
