Hi, I have a chassis from an amp I tried to build ready to be transformed. I have chosen a deluxe type amp. Now I need a few things to be cleared up from this schematic. http://www.angelfire.com/mech/beansamps/schems/GA20.pdf
-I am assuming that all of the caps are non polarized because of the lack of "+" sign?
-Which symbols are the pots?
-If the cap is labeled "100" what does that mean? uf? pf?
Thanks for the help in advance!!

the "100" cap is the cathode bypass cap, it should be 100uf.
Polarized caps should be used for any cap coming off the cathodes of the tubes as well as the power supply caps
this is the symbol for the pots (the 1 Meg values).....

there's another version of the schematic on Schematic Heaven but it still doesn't list polarities for the caps (negative end goes to ground)

most caps used for coupling purposes have no polarity if the values are under 1uf,and filter caps are almost always electrolytic for space considerations. If you don't see a + sign on a cap, look for an indentation on the body of the cap on one end. That would likely make it an electrolytic cap and the indentation is the positive side.
That amp looks like it would be a different sounding creature, with a rather underfiltered power supply and the capicitor and 10 meg resistor combination on the inputs.Never heard a Gibson GA20 befoer, might be rather cool.
