on a serious note...Folks are getting carried away with the hype associated with transformers. Lots of companies make great ones and you can get a great transformer cheap. A 50 watt Heyboer transformer used by **** and lots of other high dollar amps is fabulous and they don't cost hundreds of dollars. Dealer cost on a decent heyboer OT is around $50. Probably a lot less if you are a builder and buy in quantity.
There are lots of great transformers being made today. You don't have to buy a "name brand" to get a great one.

I believe Nik's trannies comes from a boutique company also in malaysia. this company designs and manufactures high end audiophile equipment including their own trannies. Like Ceriatone, their prices are very reasonable for what you are getting and the quality is superb! The trannies are designed for Nik specifically for each mdel amp.
it would not suprise me if the quality of their transformers meets or exceeds what our community now thinks of as the best trannies for amps.

You can't deny the humor in this phrase. Nik's a serious pimp man. Haha.

Nik trannies are very good. I swapped his bt another greatly appreciated now nearly out of bussiness and improve was very tiny, just a bit of clarity, not worth the swap and money cost involved.
