I removed these Sylvania 6L6 power tubes from an old Music Man amp. I was wondering If anybody knew anything about them. Are they any good? I have a 1965 Fender Bandmaster that currently has Groove Tubes in it. The Bandmaster sounds awesome, however would it be worth trying these Sylvania 6L6s in it?

Absolutely!...as long as they're good. If the MusicMan amp was working with them you're probably ok.
You should ALWAYS check/adjust bias when changing power tubes in a Bandmaster and 90% of all tube amps.

Those Sylvanias are premium 6L6's---- as Blue Strat said, as long as they are in good shape, they should make a positive difference in the Bandmaster's tone---- I'm running a similar set of Sylvania 6L6GCs in my best sounding Brownface Bandmaster----- One of my '65 Blackface Bandmasters has GE 6L6GCs and the other has JJ's---- the '65 with JJ's came to me pretty butchered and i put in an AES PT (orig fried) and a Heyboer 4/8/16 ohm Bassman OT.............gldtp99
