New for me anyway. I just got it from E-Bay. I plugged it in, and wow!! This thing rocks...At about #6 it starts to break up. I dont have the correct speaker cab for it yet, so I played it thru my D-130. The ohms didnt match, but man did this baby sing. Im gonna have a tech go thru the entire amp, recover it, and add all new hardware. Then I will get a Mojo cab with correct speakers for it. My new project!!!

Should I keep it blackface correct, or change the color??

Im not gonna change the mechanics...just make sure everything is in order. But as long as it needs cosmetics done..I might change the color..Im undecided at this point. The Blackface isnt my favorite color scheme..I like the blonde/maroon myself, but Im not sure yet.

If it's original...the cosmetics....leave them. You never know when you might resell and original brings top dollar.

How is your tremolux for noise?
I tried a new one that just arrived at a music store and with every knob counterclockwise was hissing like a snake. Most likely an issue with the amp as the new twin next to it was dead quiet. Other than than that, nice sounding amp for the money.
