I'm curious how many Gear Pagers put an order in for one of Scott's Tradition Limiteds. Holler back if you were lucky enough to get on the list!
Here's a pic of my top (just swapped out the old with the new pic):

I routed Jeffs guitars last week too. Ill carve it in the next day or so.
These things are taking a long time but its important to get them perfect...

Hi Scott! Maybe I'll come to BC this summer (my girlfriend is from Kelowna, Okanagan Valley): will it be possible to try to arrange a visit to your shop? You know, to have a talk with a master luthier, looking at his work since here in Italy there're no Heatleys, and other little things, such as knocking him with an unfinished neck and running away with a pair of axes...

Millul- next time your on the Island give me a call. im sure we can arrange a visit.
I just finished some more fretboards. They are turning out real nice.
I think I am sticking to the name Tradition Limited simply because thats what it is. Limited. Almost all the wood I had set aside is spoken for now. Ive got enough tops and BRW fretboards for 8 more guitars. Not as much Mahogany but I can dig that up easy enough. Although the real Mahogany is getting very scarce and will be a thing of the past very soon. Old BRW is prety much gone now. i had a source for it but even he has dried up. Hasnt seen any for over a year. its possible some will turn up and I will by as much as I can afford.....and maybe just a bit more:-) However, for now Im limited to what I got. All My BRW will be set aside for these guitars. After its gone ill probably have to use Madagasscar or Coco Bolo. Which I really like, it can be very close to BRW, sometimes I think its better. Depends on the piece.
Thanks to everyone who has been so patient while I fuss around with these things. Its been a long wait for some. I really appreciate it and you will be rewarded with a guitar that will outlive you and whoever gets it after you and I are gone. Built to last, built to be played....hard.

I had a lot of fun collecting old wood. Scott quality-controlled all of it.

Man, that top looks great, especially now that it is carved. Can't wait to see the end result.

Thanks... thought it looked kinda 'Ash-like' but it's from a cool old board, so it should be most excellent.

If you can't view the web site, it's likely that you either need to upgrade your flash player, or that you have javascript turned off. To make the content in Scott's site recognized by the search engines, I recently employed a javascript file. If you don't have javascript turned on, you won't see the site. You should, however, at least get a page with only text. I've tested the site in IE6, IE7, Firefox, and Safari without any issues.

Very strange, Jae. Yet it seems you're not the only one having a problem. Do you have javascript turned on? I'll look into what the cause might be and let you know what I find out.

On my work computer, it just loads and loads and loads...then it says page cannot be displayed. I can't find another website that it does that with, and the old site worked fine. Weird.

I ain't gettin' mine much sooner than that! Scott's investing a lot of time in these. As he said, he wants them to be perfect. I will say this--having waited for a Heatley before, every painful moment of that long wait just goes away the second you get it in your hands.
