Hi Brian....rockin' tones.
Wattage, what tube complement in the head?
Brian Wallace
04-29-2008, 06:15 AM
Hey Stratclaw,
The tube compliment is the basic 12ax7 and EL34 witches brew. :stir The amp in the clips is a 50W.

I currently own this amp, and in a moment of stupidity thought about selling it. Paired with a V30 and G12H30 its a freaking monster. One of the better marshalls I have played, its not going anywhere!

I'm so glad you found the right speaker combination. I really like this amp with the G12M and the reissue green backs but you've got me wanting to try your combo now. A set of Wing C EL34's make's the amp sound solid as well. The JJ E34L's make it a bit softer.

Another thing for potential buyers. Brian Wallace is good people. He worked with me to voice the amp well and supported me long after post purchase and continues too. First class guy, and knowledgeable.
He went above and beyond for me with the amp mods / voicing and case.
Happy New Year Brian and kick ass in '09!:dude If I can swing it, I'll be back for my JTM fix.:dude

I came REALLY close to buying yours when you advertised it for sale , based ONLY on sound clips.. I know better than to base purchases of amps on soundclips, but I just had this good feeling about this one and the clips are incredible.
