View Full Version : Eventide Eclipse is amazing!!!!!
I finally got my new Fuchs rig wired up.
Andy built a custom rack unit to be able to sit between the ODS and speaker cab. The dimensions of the rack unit are such that it fits and sits perfectly between the head and cab. :AOK
Even though I plan to run the rig wet/dry --- I played today with the Eclipse running through the Effects loop of the Fuchs.
Simply Amazing :drool :D :drool
The quality of effects (i.e. delay, reverb, chorus) are in a league completely their own.
Nothing I have used (pedal wise or rack wise) even comes close to this unit.
... and I am only running through the loop
This thing is going to sound amazing when I complete the wet/dry rig.

I'm with you on this one! I've got an Eclipse in my studio, and it's just amazing. :AOK
I would love to see some 3rd party development for it. If anyone knows of any, please speak up! :BEER

Yep, the Eclipse is one of THE best purchases I've ever made. I use it in every recording project on vocals and guitars.
Wondering now if I should get the Timefactor for my pedalboard so I can leave the Eclipse at home.

How are the reverbs compared to the Lexicon PCM series?

Different... The Lexicons, IMO are warmer sounding. They have a particular sonic character that are unique to Lexicon, that has been an industry benchmark. The Eventide's have very nice reverbs too, but not the same.
