Weber speakers... No mounting screws?

I just ordered some Weber speakers. I searched the site high and low to look for mounting screws. After emailing them they said the speakers don't come with screws and they don't even sell screws on their site, isn't that kind of weird for a speaker company, considering all of the kits and amp parts they sell? What kind of screws are best? I am mounting these into a birch baffle, tweed style.

No, it's not weird. Nuts and bolts are expensive, and in many cases are already part of the cabinet the speakers are to be installed in. A speaker manufacturer would have to raise their prices to cover the cost of mounting hardware that may not be needed. The suggestion of using T-nuts and a corresponding bolt from the hardware store is what most people use. A ten or twelve inch speaker would use 1/4" bolts.

1/4" seems a bit excessive to me. Most amps with mounted studs use 8-32. A 10-32 would be more than adequate. But 1/4"? That's a bit overkill, IMO

I don't know of any speakers that come with mounting hardware,because every amp has a different system it seems.If you are building one,use 8-32 bolts through the baffle before the grille cloth goes on.
Drill the mounting holes smaller than the bolts and countersink the flat top screws into the baffle.I use a touch of superglue so they don't back out.1-1/2" length is plenty.
I don't use T-Nuts because they can come loose.All Tweed amps used bolts and nuts about 8-32.

When ever I am putting together a baffle I always use speaker studs from the front. Same thing that has been used for decades in both audio and guitar amps.

I am building the cabinet, this was the only thing I was unsure of... how to mount the speakers a good way.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting Weber to necessarily include the screws, but its odd that they don't sell any screws on their site at all. It sucks because then you have to order screws from another site and the shipping will most likely be more than twice the amount of the screws themselves, you know. Of course there's always the Home Despot.

I didn't say 8/32"....

I said 8-32. #8 stud, 32 threads per inch.

A #8 stud measures 0.164"

I use 1/4-20 hardware on my cabinets. So there are some that like overkill :).

FWIW, EV recommends 1/4-20 hardware.

I am kinda surprised that the cabinet builder did not provide any hardware.

As far as Weber, on a raw speaker I would never expect to get hardware with the speaker.

The 'cabinet builder' in this case is the guy who is asking the question.
EV speakers are generally very heavy,so 1/4" screws is not a bad idea.Most tweed amps use flyweight Alnico magnet speakers.
