I would hope not. Might take 15 minutes to get used to. But why?

i switch back and fourth from tens and nines to keep myself challenged and i think it pays off in the long run. you know they actually make ernie ball 9.5's which arent bad but i wish that they were diadario's because ernie's get way too grimey mad fast

If someone wants .010 and can't bend them comfortbaly try DR Blues .010. They feel loose like .009's. I fact I can't use them it's almost to easy to bend and I can't get the right feel for them.

Changing from .10's to 9's - I agree with JoeDRII - it'll take you 15 minutes to adjust down, and a few minutes longer to adjust back up if you switch back. No big deal.

I use 10s on my 24 3/4" scale guitars but I substitute a .095 for the high E. Works perfectly for me.
I use 9s on my 25" scales. I fell into the "tone not as good" idea with 9s but after listening to Lucidology's clips, I changed.

I used 10s for about two years. One day I put 9s on and it was like WOW! I never put 10s on again. Bending was a breeze and it felt just right. And it was immediate.

This is a good point. I've never been able to get a good tone with 9s, however I have read that some of my favorite players use them. Most notably Johnny Winter and Buddy Guy, and their tone is fatter than anyones.
