I put a reproduction faceplate on my Silver face Fender amp. I took the old one off, and the new one went on real easy and is held i nplace by control knobs and power indicator light. I did not use any glue. Should I have? Can I get vibrations due to not having used glue? If I do need glue, what type should I use?

No glue, the pot nuts, bright switch screws and indicator wwasher do the job just fine.

Unless it's a Super or Super Reverb, which requires a small amount of Super Glue to retain integrity.

Does that mean if it's a Twin that Gorilla glue is required? :D

no but if it was a ham radio you must use Elmers.

Let me further clarify that by adding that if it's a Johnson Viking series ham radio, mucilage glue is required, and if it was a Collins, then a platinum/gold-based glue would be essential.
Let's end this now before anyone else is hurt. :horse
Or my head asplodes.
Cheers!
