I'm liking their brown leather strat case. Looks like softened leather.

I have one, not bad, but it looks cooler than it is. It's on par in build quality with the Musicians Friend generic cases. The dark brown leather actually feels like a paper thin coat of imitation suede; its soft to the touch. It looks cool and works for around the house, but I wouldn't gig with one and if buying again I wouldn't spend the $100 on it when you can get the tweed case from MF for half that.

Its at a friends house, I should pick it up later today and I'll post pics if I can.

I don't have the Gator case mentiioned already, but I have a couple others and I like them, though not at the price they regularly go for, I wait until i catch a sale or close out on one.

The hard plastic cases are fine, like an SKB. I've got a couple of the nylon-covered styrofoam jobs, too, and they're OK for what they are, but the zippers---Ya gotta watch them zippers. (I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to phrase that last sentence...)

brown leather strat case.

Here you go, it does look cool, just not as sturdy as the G&G stuff.

I got myself the GW-LP/LP, it's a double case for two LP type Guitars. It is a bit clumsy, but with the wheels on it, it is way better to roll on case than schlepp two cases.

I like em.

Okay, thanks bros. I thought they'd be better than the G&G rectangle cases that come with a Fender. Those are getting cheap/flimsy to me in the last couple years. I was thinking a small, dedicated case company would put out some better stuff.

The rectangle strat cases Fender used in the 80's up till around '04 were very sturdy and built well. It seems the recent G&G ones even from the Fender Custom Shop are cheap and flimsy. Like thin cardboard that flexes easily.

I've got 2 G&G cases. One (black tolex with a raised Fender logo on the lid) feels kinda cheap and flimsy/flexes easily, while the other one (tweed with a rectangular Fender badge under the handle) feels sturdy. I also have a Gator case (tweed) and, though kinda flimsy, does an adequate job in protecting the Strat that's in it and is about half the weight of the G&G cases. However, the latches on the Gator case are really stout and work very well.
