I got a Mcinturff Polaris from Esoteric Pete a couple weeks ago, and it's just an incredible instrument.
The only problem is, the high e's keep breaking. I rarely ever break strings on guitars, but I've gone through 4 high e's in the past week.
Anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

Most likely you have a burr in your saddle. you need to look at the point where the string comes over the bridge and file it smooth.

Where are they breaking?
As Rockinrob86 indicated a saddle issue is most likely.

More than likely the saddle is worn, since the guitar has a number of years on it.
Obtain a piece of 600 grit sandpaper (auto parts store) and fold a 2" square piece in half; the edge is now a "file".
Use that "file" to de-burr the string notch. You'll also want to make sure that the stop tailpiece is not so low as to cause the hi e to hit the back of the bridge base as it exits the saddle on it's way to the stoptailpiece.
You can also call me or remail me Ill be glad to speak with you! :)

Awesome, thanks so much
And I just got to chime in like many before me, Terry you not only make ridiculously great guitars, but you are one of the most genuinely nice and helpful people around.
thanks!
