Hi.
If anyone has experiences some pedals with the Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue amp.
I have the seymour duncan twin tube classic and I am dissapointed about it.
I want a smoother sound bluesy, funky, hard rock.
thanks

Hi i use with mine DRRI a MI Audio Blue Boy and Blues Pro great sound, for med to heavy OD :)
Peace Strat58
I'm currently using the following drive pedals, in the following order, with my DRRI:
Keeley modded Ibanez TS-9
OCD v1 modded to v3
Zvex Box of Rock
I really like the sound of the OCD pedal with the boost function of the BOR. I also have a Bad Monkey and a stock Boss DS-1 that I think sounds good, but having 5 drive pedals in my chain seems like overkill.
The only mods to the DRRI that I've done is add a cannabis rex speaker. I play into the 2nd input of the vibrato channel and tame the brightness with the treble knob. I like the sound of the amp, especially with my recently purchased OCD pedal

barber LTD
Barber Direct Drive
Mi audio crunch
Marshall Jackhammer
all sound great with a DRRI and humbucker guitars and an eq pedal

It isn't too fizzy with tube screamers ? Ts9, Bad monkey, etc?
I use two TS models...the keeley TS-9 and bad monkey and I think both sound great. The TS-9 can actually get into some of the same gain areas that the boss DS-1 can, but with a much better sound...kind of like going from cheap off brand isolating headphones to brand name isolating headphones.

I think they are awesome with tube screamers. Of course I think the amp needs to be pretty loud to sound good at all.

Try playing through the normal channel with your pedal and turn the amp up a little. The normal channel is fuller sounding.
Many players also remove the bright cap to tame brightness on the amp which will improve overdrive pedal sounds at lower volumes.
I currently use a Zendrive sometimes stacked with a Zoom PD-01 in front for extra smoothness/sustain. I used to use a Barber Direct Drive and that sounded good with the DRRI also.

Yup. I play a Les Paul through Input #2 of the Normal channel of my DRRI. Just sounds better IMO. Also sounds better up around 7 on the volume pot but man, the walls are shaking!
Having trouble warming up to my BoR. Now trying it before the Bad Monkey and OCD. Any suggestions?
Really like the sound of the OCD being pushed by the BM.
Also removed the Bright Cap on the Vibrato channel and it's much improved.

Due to being a common amp we have a DRRI in the amp arsenal for test purposes of our pedals. Though when I play through the DRRI in my free time I like to crank it and roll back the bass and forget about pedals.

I actually run my BOR at the end of my overdrive chain, and use the boost feature to boost the signal from my OCD. I love the way it sounds...nice and thick, but smooth at the same time. I run my TS9/BM first, then the OCD, then the BoR.
Swapping out the speaker for the Cannabis Rex tamed the brightness for me. I just need to break it in.

OceanEFX Pearl Drive
Pedalworx Texas Two Step
Pedalworx Cactus Crunch (for boost)
These sound great with my DRRI, but the Emi RW&B speaker I put in is part of it, too. Like others have said, the Cannabis Rex is also a great swap.

So, do you use the drive portion of the BoR at all? I guess I thought it was going to be my "heavier drive" pedal but it looks like it might become my "lesser drive" box.

I think the mojo drive is one of the best pedals for fender amps. I have had mine for 3 weeks now and it sounds amazing through my super, deluxe and twin. Way to go ethan!

+1 I use a Lovepedal Eternity (regular black model) stacked into a Cusack Screamer Fuzz to great success. Those two pedals work really well with a DRRI. I also have NOS tubes, bright cap clipped and a Reverend Alltone speaker replacement. All of these additions make a very inexpensive amp very usable. As to the TGP'er who likes to run their DRRI on 7!... Are you rolling back the volume on yours? I'm never usually above 4 on the normal channel 2nd input with my humbucker guitar. This totally keeps up with a 5 piece band!:dude

I've used the FD-2 mosfet and the OCD moded v3 on that amp; it was live gigging volume and I used the guitar's volume to regulate the amount of distortion. It works very well. That's a nice little amp.
I should have moved the mic around, but here's a quick clip of a simple chord progression of my DRRI with a Cannabis Rex speaker. I'm playing a stock PRS SE Soapbar through input 2 of the Vibrato channel. I didn't really mess with the EQ or gain much...just tried to adjust the volume for each pedal.
