Guess What Guitar Body Type Here

Please tell me what type of guitar body type you hear in this clip?

I need some educated guesses please.

Hollow / Semi Hollow / Solid / Chambered? what do your ears hear?

If you settle for a not very educated guess i would say Semihollow. Then again I get that sot of tone from my completely hollow (so soundwhole small guitar so it sound like a mix of a tele/335/archtop) or a Soloway swan chambered. But my first choice for trying to get a similar tone would be semihollow..

Although this is a Valley Arts 7/8 Strat...I think it has a 'chambered' sound as well.


When I first heard Larry Carlton play one on his live vid...I thought wow .. sounds like his 335 but with some serious bite in reserve when you dig in.


How much part does the tremolo cavity play in this .. anyone know?

Semi hollow or maybe Robbin ford type of chambered ,there is some type of depth and or air to it...Hard to say hell might even be a veriax for all I know.



I think I want to put a trem cavity in the back of my solid VA Tele hardtail,

Any comments?
