no it cannot as the fuzz factorys thin sounding, even thinner than a fuzz face and the big muff is thick sounding with tons of bass. besides that they are totally different circuits and sound nothing a like.

the title sums it up?With an EQ pedal (fuzz Factory), I have gotten some very Muff-y tones. The sound out of the FF is only as thin as your amplifier sounds.

There's nothing "thin" sounding about my Fuzz Factory.

All of the above being as correct as it can possibly be, the Fuzz Factory is not really a Muff. If you want a very decent Muff on the cheap, try the Little Big Muff. $50, and it sounds righteous.

Good luck!

Sorry...I forgot to mention that I agree with the above post...I don't think that the FF can do a BM fuzz tone. I would look elsewhere for that.

i've tried every conceivable setting i could think of with my FF (and that's a lot of conceiving, FF has a million settings!) but none really hit the Muff. i have a muff clone coming this week, i'll let you know if it scratches the right itch, or itches closer than the FF does.

don't get me wrong tho, the FF is a truly evil fuzz. it's just that a muff is still a muff.

Maybe the Woolly?

Nope. The FF is awesome but it ain't gonna out muff a Muff.

I use a Wooly Mammoth for guitar. It's not really a Muff sound, but it's in that ballpark... that huge bottom thing. Great pedal. But if you want a Muff sound, get a Muff.

My vexter ff was very thin sounding, but my new painted ff is the thickest fuzz I've heard. Go figure.

But no, it wont do muff. The ff is emphasised in the mids and highs, the muff emphasised very much in the bass end.

I love my Fuzz Factory, but it doesn't do Big Muff sounds.

FFactory is a cool pedal, but it's not very good at coping muff tones.
