The enclosures are here and I'm assembling Triads as fast as I can (well, while still doing a good job, I mean).

So they will be shipping starting the end of this week. I have over 30 backorders, and they will ship in the order they were, well, ordered, so some will have theirs next week, and others within the coming month. I will try to get everyone's order out as soon as possible, but the Triad is a complex pedal and assembly does take some time. So there is still a wait for many, but the end is in sight.

Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy your Triads as much as existing Triad owners have enjoyed theirs.

I picked mine up in the Emporium a few weeks back...best tonal investment i have ever made. Absolutely love it!! Need to team it up with a good delay now... any suggestions??

Wow, thanks.

The Boss DD-20 is very popular with Triad owners, though it really depends on what kinds of delay sounds you want.

In general, look for delays that can be set 100% wet, so you can run the Triad loop in parallel and control the delay level using the Send knob on the Triad.

With a delay like the DD-20 that has presets, you can set the Triad Send knob for unity, then save the presets at varying delay levels.

The TC Nova Delay is also a good match, though I have not used it yet.

One nice feature of the Triad is that it lets you have delay spillover, even with delays that can't do spillover on their own.

Thanks for the info Lyle. I think i'll look into the Nova...best bang for the buck for sure. Keep up the good work my friend :D

The Triad is definitely worth the wait

So, anyone received theirs? According to Lyle, I am on the first place in the waiting list, but still a month after this statement nothing came, not even a mail with tracking number. I hate to vent it, but I am now in my 11th month of waiting for a pedal that was supposed to be sent in 2-3 weeks (Lyle: "it won't be like some "boutique" pedals where you have to wait a year (!)").

None here, yet, either. Can't see giving out the "dates" if you can't live up to them.

Haven't heard anything either, I ordered mine back in January.

Can't wait to get my hands on it :)

Yours was the first that shipped. I emailed you about it. You have the USPS shipping number.

I am living up to the "dates". The people who ordered before you are getting theirs first. Yours is coming up in the queue.

No, you are not living up to dates. In this very thread, in the first post from May 12th, you state that the first Triads are going to be shipped on the end of that week. The last day of that week is May 18th. My Triad, that is supposedly the first in this batch, was shipped on June 13th. That's NOT living up to your dates.

I guess I should just be quiet and cope with the delay, but I have been assured so many times that my pedal is going to be shipped soon, that I really stopped caring. Add to it the 4/1 ratio of email sent/reply received and it's pretty much done. I am frustrated and annoyed with the pedal purchase like I have never been in my life.

Look, at least admit you have a problem. Not to me, but to you. Sending replies that you live up to dates when you do not won't help anyone and you the least.

I am living up to "dates" now. I got a bad batch of CD4049s from Mouser, which was certainly an unanticipated delay.

I understand that people are frustrated by the delays. I am frustrated by the delays. The delays have hurt my reputation and my sales.

I have never had anyone be disappointed in the pedal itself once they receive it, and I am trying mightily to eliminate as many possible sources of delay as I can.

I don't know what else I can do.

So neither Mouser nor their supplier has QA in place to prevent shipping a complete batch of junk? Their certified to meet ISO 9001 and I would expect anyone who supplies them components is also. That would entail batch sample testing prior to shipping. I understand that a quality initiative is only as good as the employees there to enforce it.

Pedal performance and builder performance are two different topics. Mr. Topas has endured more than one delay over 11 months, I'm sure. Whether vendor related or not missed dates are still missed dates. My wait has been considerably less here.

Seems this product, with it's stellar performance, still suffers from supply chain issues or mismanagement, take your pick. Too often this topic has been related to your products. I, for one, will reconsider further dealings having had at least one date missed myself.

Oddlogic, you are 5th in line, and Ricky, you are 11th in line. I'm shipping them out as fast as I can build them. Not much longer.

When I started this thread there were 30 people ahead of you, Oddlogic, so I am getting them out.

I was 5th in line for a Triad back in july, I haven't heard anything since then. Hope everything is ok.

I had an e-mail from him on 10/23 apologizing once again for delays. He sent it to about 8 of us. He stated he would begin shipping the following week. I haven't had any more contact and haven't seen my Triad yet. I have been on list since March this year.

I got this same message 6 weeks ago (ordered mine back in january), still no word after that - it's getting frustrating.
Seeing as I was 5th in line back in july, does this mean mr. Caldwell makes less than one Triad per month ?

This thread might have some answers for you if you care to read through it. Although it is probably not the answer you want.

Didn't see that before, hope all is well with him. I feel bad for the ""nagging" now - but I still think he would save himself a lot of this negative attention by just sending out a mail or whatever to his customers explaining there will be delays, and when we can reasonably expect the product we ordered - and if he doesn't have a ETA - just say so.
