Mitch Farber and me at the NY amp show.
Mitch is playing through the D'Lite 22/33.
I'm playing through the D'Lite Bluesmaster 44.
Mitch is a super nice guy and sick player.
He made quite an impression on everyone.
You'll see why..........

Researched Mitch a little ...
He used to play in the K.C and the Sunshine Band (even said it was his favorite gig)...
I like this guy ... :-)
mitch is definitely a badass and a great human as are you mr. d'aloia. the best part of the day for me was getting to hang with such cool people and excellent musicians like chuck, mitch, scott, john gentry (my homeboy) and my friend gene segal. i can't wait until the next one!

Killer playing by both!! Mitches comping on that last tune was my favorite part! Anyone have that backing around? Minor blues in 3/4 I think.

Hardly anyone ever uses Wayne's original changes for the turnaround..
Most folk usually just play: | D7 | Db7 |

You guys not only have great technique, but impeccable taste and tone.
I'll buy the CD if you two ever hook up.

Chuck told me many moons ago that the turnaround was different in Footprints, but that's what I play over it. :)

Great playin' by "both" of you guys. Seems like I remember him a little from when I lived and gigged in Miami/South FLA.
I wonder if K.C. let him loose much? On various gigs, I have played K.C. tunes and they are a riot to solo on and "massacre"(in a good way, hopefully).
A lot of great players were from that area, Scott Henderson, Randy Bernsen, Alphonse Kettner, Joey Murcia our own TGP monster, Mondoslug.
Peace,
