I've located two numbers on the chassis, one of them being F052867, and was almost positive it was a '67. Am i correct in thinking it was built on may 28, 1967?

That's the chassis stamp is part of date coding the amp. What are the transformer codes starting with 606... and what's the two letter stamped on the tube chart?

The tranny is a replacement i believe, two letter code is QF.

Yes,from the QF code it looks like June of '67.That along with the chassis stamp puts you right there. The codes on the pots should be in the range also;1377.. or so for CTS and 3047.. for Stackpole.You may fine some '66 date codes on some of the pots also.Some Fender trannys started with 831 which was Better Coil and Transformer.
