I'm an army guy at Ft. Hood Texas for 10 more months til I retire.

I'm lousey with some nice guitars;

Martin D-35, WY1K Alvarez (Yari) for acoustics

My electrics are a Les Paul Black Beauty, ES-Artist, Fender Jazzmaster (64 pre-CBS) Fender Fat Strat, Satrianni Ibinez, and a couple other cheap ones.

I have a butt load of amps because my brother worked for SLM music (At the Arkansas plant).

I have a boss 880 drum machine and a Boss 1600 digital recorder.

I came here looking for information about my guitars.

I'm in the process of retiring and trying to record all the songs I've written.

I'm very impressed with the level of technical expertise I have seen here.

I need to find someone local (old geezers) to teach me some new stuff, I feel like I have stagnated over the years)

Take care, Semore

Semore welcome a board, my dad went down to fort hood, to do his reserve duty every summer, I remember he took the lawnmower down there once and broke it on a rock one summer LOL, he's a retired colonel, and we played both the enlisted and officers clubs back in the late 70s, really nice place down there , enjoy your retirement.
