Nice demo, Jack!

What were you using for a gain pedal, and was it before or after the AF?

Sounds very cool with a little hair on it. Good work!

Thanks. Six Swords after the pedal. It'd probably cool before too.

It seems like another DOD 440 clone but sounds more pronounced on the clips than the byoc clips i've heard.

it is a 440 clone, but I'm not sure what you mean by "another" since at the time we started making it for tonefactor, i dont think anyone else was producing one.

Also, not all 440's are the same. I've looked in a few of them an not one of them were the same. The red and green ones are very similar, but even ones that the same color havent been exactly the same. The blue one is nothing like the original red and green one, and is probably based on the mxr filter desing.

Great demo clip as always.

I sold mine awhile back...listening to the demo was reassuring.

I would like to try another variant someday.

I spent the afternoon with a Boss AW-2, FT-2 and TW-1...lots of fun.

I have three of the ToneFactor Analogue Filter 442's in different rigs. Of note the one I bought used and tattered does lack some of the mojo of the other two. I haven't opened them up, since I run them all on Pedal Powers, is there any adjustments in these things?

Bought one instantly.

That is absolutely the most musical sounding auto-wah I've ever heard, and I used to own a 70's Mutron III (loved it but too big and powering it too quirky in today's world), as well as several of the Ibanez, EH and Boss pedals.

I hope the Mojo Hand sounds as good in my rig as it does on that demo.

I have one of the older, dark green ones, and it sounds fantastic. My buddy, Lance (ACfixer), recently picked up one of the later blue ones, and it doesn't sound anywhere near the same. We've A/B'd them, and his doesn't have the quack & dynamics that mine has (it hardly has any at all), sounds like a totally different pedal. Strange.

That really sucks. I thought that I read that the Mojo Hand version is exactly the same as the old green Tonefactor ones, only manufactured by MH instead of TF.

Man, I hope I'm not bummed when it arrives.

Mojo Hand is still Tone Factor; they just changed the name on the pedals to differentiate the pedal brand from the retail business that sells other manufacturers' pedals as well.

If someone is having a problem or has some questions about a Mojo Hand pedal, they should contact Brad at Tone Factor. He always goes out of his way to take care of any problems.

I've heard all of 'em are the same, too; I watched the clip again, and my earlier TF one sounds like the MH one in Jack's demo. You're gonna love it, it's a fun pedal. :AOK (I suspect Lance's AF just needs to be sent in for a check-up..)
