I ordered a Weber 12A150T for my Pro Tube Reverb............haven't got it yet so can't tell you the results but a vintage Weber would be a good choise. I'm replacing a Jensen C12N.

TT Alnico is great in DRRI. I think it helps tame the ear stabbing when you crank the reissue.

When I had mine I used a Eminence Cannabis Rex, that speaker helps tame any top end harshness!

I've got a HRDx and didn't like the flabby low end when I got it. I have several Groove Tubes amps with GT Classic Clones which are a rebadged Celestion G12K-85(now called the G12K-100). I tried a V30 in it and didn't like the high end at all, so I popped the Classic Clone just for chuckles.
What a difference! As it says on the Celestion site, tight low end and mid emphasis with a smooth top end- perfect for these 40watt Fenders. I doesn't chime as much as it did with the stock Eminence, but the overall tone is much smoother, and the overdrive channels in the HRDx don't grate my eardrums at all now. They actually sound good!
You might want to check out the Classic Clone or the G12K-100.
