i used my ibanez rg 570 with dimarzios (air norton on neck, virtual vintage on bridge), and pod xt live directly to pc through usb cable. i think amp model was line 6 agro with a chorus and delay on top...hope this helps.

i'm still working on that song.. once i have the whole structure of the song i will re-record the guitar parts maybe with a different tone.

cheers.

Line 6 Pod:rolleyes: I would have never guessed that. What does agro stand for? Did your guitar come stock with those PU's?

Good job and welcome.
Now you HAVE to check out Guthrie Govan, Alex Macacek, Shawn Lane & Shawn Lane to add to your influences. Then temper it and slow it down a bit with Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Jim Hall & Brent Mason.

agro is the amp model on the pod xt live (it has about 36 amp emulations).

about the pickups, the dimarzios are not the originals... i replaced them a few years ago.

hey guitardr. i already know Guthrie, Alex , Shawn, and all the other ones you mention... i'm a complete guthrie head. i have all his dvds(botlegs), and erotic cakes cd. i've known him for a couple of years and i have to say he is the best all around player i've ever heard.

i also like wayne krantz a lot, also scofield, adam rogers, andreas oberg.
on the country side of things i like scotty anderson, albert lee, brent and some more.

i listen to all kinds of music, from classical to metal (messhugah i love), also folk music from argentina (tango among others).

cool to share influences with you!
