I know Kluson is what a lot of people have used, but will I need to drill new holes? Just want to change out the tuners for a better quality tuner.
Also, anyone change pickups? What pickups did you buy? You like?
I have two Casinos that I want to upgrade after buying an Elitist Casino.
Any recommendations on how you've improved your Casinos?

I'm borrowing infiniteposse's Korean-made Casino right now and it's really a nice guitar. I like it considerably better than the 90-91 Gibson 335 Studio I previously owned, surprising given the low cost of the Casino. I've been thinking of picking up a Casino, but I've managed to fight off the gas as I'm really a Fender guy at heart. The tuners actually seem pretty decent; I don't think I'd feel the need to replace them (if it were mine).
Can you share how your Elitist version compares in sound/feel/quality of finish compared to your other Casinos?

Also,
My elitist definitely has better tuners. Definitely has better pickups. Seems more solidly built. Just better hardware all around.
I just love the necks on these guitars, and the sound. An Elitist is definitely a step up from a regular Casino. Definitely one of my favorite, if not my favorite, guitars. I'm a Tele guy all the way, but I love these Casinos.
