I am a self taught player and a novice when it comes to sound recording...other than the 2 studio classes i took in college and my mild obsession with garage band on mac( i'm sure that sounds lame, but you have to start somewhere)...I recently picked up an 04 American Tele and after years of acoustic guitar playing am trying to cut my teeth the best i can with amplified sound.
My main goal right now is to get my settings right...drive/level/bass/treb/mid/reverb etc... and learn more about the electric guitar, the appropriate gear, and recording/mixing.
What little gear i have: Fender 15W Junior Blues Amp, 04 American Telecaster, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Garage Band(no plug-ins)
