MY GOD! Esquire® 3-way is the Tap! with 3-choices!

I never tried the Tapped Custom thing before.

so I gave it a shot! OH MY GOD!

I simply used the 3-way switch for the 3 taps --

on the 3-Way;
forward is Roy Buchanan tap (secret Spec 0.0K)
Middle is Bakersfield / Rock-n-roll Tap (6.6k)
Bridge is Tweed Monster tap ( 8.1k)

its the best guitar options I ever tried -

you can roll back the tone while in the middle position and get sweet neck pup like sound,

forward you can nail Roy's Nancy bridge tone!

And the bridge back position is the big over~wound Tweed Monster tone

I was thinking of calling it the "3-Speed ~Sting Ray ~for Esquire® "

Pre wired -- its way too easy already - just one hot wire at the switch on the left side - then its just the 3 pickup wire tap's all on the same side of the switch 1-2-3
nothings on the other side of the switch

easy as pie.. almost felt as if thats what that switch was made for..

all done on the switchs left four lugs. first one is just the hot from your Volume pot
next
Black is ground

2nd. lug + White is mildest tap (Buchanan) tap
3rd lug + Yellow is the 6.6k medium tap ( Bakersfield)
4th lug + Red is the hottest 8.1k tap ( Tweed Monster)

Tone pot gets the Old school -to- modern - normal Tele hook up~ like Fender used.
and its all done!

Just a warning Don, but that name may not stick. Music man has it for their basses, they asked Dr Z to rename his amp (became the Stang Ray).

You may be small enough to sneak by though.
