24db Boost v.s. Low Wattage Amps

Hello,

If I put a Creation Audio Lad MK. 4.23 boost which is 24bd in front of my Swart AST would the amp hold it. For that matter would it work with any low wattage amp that may already have a boost in it ALA : Quidley 22.

Sorry for the stupid question, I just want to make sure before I buy the pedal.

Given I don't know what any of this gear is, can you borrow the pedal and try it out first, or bring your amplifier to where the pedal is located? :)
