Greetings you all, I'm currently playing in the Barry Brown Band playing bass. Dickie Fredricks with who I have the doubious distinction of playing with has turned me on to the Gear Page.
I play mostly Carvin Gear, my main bass is a Koa Carvin LB 70, I also use a Raven West thru neck as a back up. Depending on the Gig I use either a Carvin R600 or a Carvin BR1200. The 600 usually pushes a 2-10" top and a 18" bottom. With the BR 1200 I usually push a 4-10" top and a 18" bottom.
I'm primairly a classic rocker but have played Country, Blues, R&B to Metal.

Welcome about Deep. This is a pretty cool place with many players offering a lot of insight.

Just be careful of that Dickie! Word through out the state is that he's always in trouble gettin' pulled over by the cops and having sound guys throw pizza at him!;)

Being pulled by the cops is true, the pizza was thrown by our hysterical sound man (kid) at our drummer. Yeh it was an interesting weekend!!!!

Welcome to The Gear Page Doug!!!

Doug and I live in the upper middle of the state. Near Darlington though we both live in the sticks. Doug lives in Hartsville and Im in the metropolis known as Patrick. Dougs got an incredible amount of land. How much is it Doug? Like 180 acres?

He's a great bass player indeed. Great hang too which is very important to our little clique!

Dude, did Carvin get the new amp to you yet? I posted about it in the UPS sucks thread or whatever in the pub.

Call me brother!
