been wanting to add a condenser to my group of mic's and came across this one by Sterling Audio. I was specifically looking for something with a budget in mind, preferably a "low" budget...LOL you know, something that's a good bang for the buck. I think this one fits the bill just right. It seems sturdy and well built and without any special placement, I just set it in front of the speaker and popped off this recording. I think was some EQ and placement variation you could really dial in some nice sounds. And I think it would blend well with an SM57 too... My assumption is that it would be nice for acoustics and clean sounds. For under a $100, used via eBay, I think it's a decent mic for home recording studios.

Joe and Joe, thanks guys.

Joe D, I'm using my Les Paul on the bridge pickup..(PAF-style pickup, not too hot, about 8.1k) and my DLite with a Classic Lead 80 speaker.
