They go for between 90-125 dollars on E-bay.
It can be used as a delay pedal, reverb pedal, or you can use both effects at once.

Yep, the RV3. But be warned, this thing eats batteries like nothing. Also has unity gain issues in my experience with it.

this pedal does not due true reverb either. i can't remember exactly how it says it, but the manual says it "uses multiple delays to create reverb type ambiance." not saying it's a bad thing, that's just what it is.

You know, I think that would be okay. I use a Real Tube overdrive in a loop as a lead sound, and currently there's an AD99 in the loop as well to provide a little ambience. I think the RV-3 would probably do a better job overall, plus free up the AD99 to do other things. The reverb wouldn't need to be the best one anyone ever heard; it just needs to give some space plus a few repeats to lend a Gilmour-esque smear to this particular lead sound I use. Cheers,
Rob

I've had an RV-3 for about ten years, and I like it and use it a lot. I've even used it to add reverb to solo acoustic guitar. Analogman offers his high-cut mod on the RV-3 which makes the pedal warmer and even more usable. No complaints on the Rv-3 here. Not the most amazing reverb ever, but with delay and reverb together, I've gotten tons of mileage out of it.
Cheers,
James
