In the interest of keeping my mp3s in the correct section.

It's a composition of mine recorded with some new pickups that I'm trying out: DiMarzio Area '58s(Neck/Middle) and a DiMarzio PAF Bridge

I'm also using some other stuff I like alot:
A Tyler Classic, Suhr Badger for the cleanish tones and a Naylor Super Drive 60 for the crunchier stuff.

To be continued:
DiMarzio Area '58s & PAF Bridge (http://www.andymost.com/WhatsYourExcuse.mp3)

Sweet stuff! I just put in my dimarzio PAF Classic in the neck of my Epi Les Paul Custom, I like it a lot!

Are you using any effects on that dirty-lead part?

Hey samtheman & benjisaynomore...thanks for listening.

Benji, The FX on the lead part is some post Verb & Delay via Pro Tools plugs.

Really great playing and tones there...congrats.

How does the PAF Bridge match up with the 58's? Right now I have 58/58/VHPAF in my strat, and the VHPAF is a bit thin compared to the 58's. Was thinking about trying that PAF bridge pup!

Thanks,

Rick

Thanks, appreciate it! I'm still experimenting but I think the PAF is pretty fat. It matches up pretty well with the 58s & sounds very decent clean.I definitely wouldn't call it thin.

Mondoslug, were the clean parts recorded with the DiMarzio Area 58's? I'm considering going to these or the Area 67's. Very nice tune BTW.
