All demos with whichever guitar you can see in the respective vid, all through a Laney VC30112, crappy condenser mic, or amp sim where stated. Acoustics all direct to PC.

John,

I just wanted to say "Thanks" for making and sharing all of these presets with everyone.

I bought the Magicstomp just to load your presets & they are so great. I love the Hall reverb that you created & have been searching for this type of ambient effect for a long time now.

I love the effects & allot of them have an Andy Timmons quality to me that's just hard to pin point or figure out.

I'm all about using the Magicstomp as a delay / reverb unit only, but now I might even try to record with it. I tried to find a way to e-mail you, but I'll just thank you this way.

You are a great player & an inspiration as well.

Peace! X-Mann:AOK

Thanks for the thanks!
I'm a big believer in the 'pay it forward' principle!!!
Here's the latest stuff I've been programming - the most authentic Brian May tone I've come up with to date: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MeJeZIefEg

all sounds will be available for download ASAP.

John, great demos. Are you running in stereo? EFX loop or in front of the amp?

Thanks, most of the demos are direct mono, for the acoustic ones I'm running stereo but they have been youtubed into mono!

Wow John, if that is in mono I want one-would you be willing to program the Magicstomp for those of us who are technically uninclined to program digital effects if we sent the unit and maybe some tribute $$?

I just played mine in stereo & holly crap it's unbelievable.

John's sounds are better than allot of the stuff I've owned costing 10 times more.

This shows that if you spend time & know a product you can accomplish allot.

I don't even know John, but I can tell he is a quality human being who cares about making good music & helping others. Hard to find if you ask me.

I've got some great "Billy Idol / Steve Stevens" patches I'm working on that started from John's work.

I actually looked at what John did patch wise & it tought me allot. U can teach & old dog a new trick. LOL

Merry Christmas all!

Peace! X-Mann

No worries, no need to send or program anything, let alone pay for it!
All the sounds are in my yahoo magicstomppro group for free download, along with the software and firmware upgrade to give you git, bass and acoustic sounds all in one.(see link in sig)

Here's a demo of the most recent uploads:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qY5Le2eHS5Q (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qY5Le2eHS5Q)

Only using the MS unless otherwise stated.

the delays/revs are all 8 tap algos, so no unity gain issues and the added bonus of trails.

These drives are extremely effective live, I used them last night at full volume, didn't even bother using any stomp boxes, the difference was radical.

new amp sims (compressed as hell by youtube, the bass response is muddy in the clips, but in real life it's more normal!):

Ain't been here for a while - here's something completely new and unheard of - you can loop with the MS. I've devised a set of patches that will let you create percussive loops for live use - I've been using them for a while now and they are great.
This demo is only at bedroom volume through computer speakers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pCa8GJluns

patches available for free download anytime mates.
