First and foremost, these clips were not recorded with the intent to show off the amps sound. They are untouched demo tracks my previous band had been working on prior to my departure. They were done at relatively low volume. I'll be doing some soon-ish with the matching cab and the amp at a higher volume, but I figured I'd show what I've got now.
Both were recorded with just an SM-57 close mic'ing the cab.
My guitar is the first solo played on the clip entitled "Solo Section". I'm playing my stock Les Paul Jr > MXR ZW-44 OD > Lynx 50 > Marshall Cab, which I believe was loaded with v-30's.
The song entitled "Lynx Demo" has my sound panned hard right. It is my Heritage H-575 hollow-body, loaded with stock schaller humbuckers. I'm using the same Marshall cab, and I'm not boosting my signal with anything. It's still at a pretty low volume. My proximity to the amp gave way to that unwanted feedback from :15 to :19
For a point of reference, the other guitar sound heard on the track is a Faded SG into a DSL-2000.
