Good morning, pedal experts.

Could my Morley Volume (Lil' Alligator) pedal be used for the expression pedal on my Boss RE-20 Space Echo?

Nope, sorry. I don't know a simple way to explain the difference but volume pedals and expression pedals do different things, you need an expression pedal to controll the RE-20.

It's worth a shot. My passive old EB volume pedal works with my Boss pitch shifter and my Holy Stain as an expression pedal.

Hi,

I think it's got to be a low impedance (keyboard-) volume pedal to work as an expression pedal. And you have to use an insert cable (one end stereo, the other end two mono connectors) to plug it to the pedal.

Best wishes,

silverface.

Give the man a prize -- it didn't work. Which I'm thankful for. I really didn't have room to put it back on my board anyway! I guess I'll just have to bend over to turn up the echo level on that one song.

Heaven forbid. ;)
