Hello Guys;

This is my third post on this forum.
I recorded a solo over Born under a Bad Sign, using my Les Paul Standard
with Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro's through my Brownnote amp kit using a Boogie hardwood cabinet with an EVM12L speaker.
Recorded in Pro Tools with reverb and delay added afterwards.

Hope you like it

nice tone!

I have rarely heard a bad sound from the D'lite amps and this shows off a few cool sides of them.

nice take.

Excellent clip! We have such common influences judging by your harmonic ideas and phrasing. Loved when you kicked in the OD. Real smooth and silky. Great feel and lines ;)

Agree with Scott ...

It's funny ... before you kicked in the overdrive I was thinking..
was thinking ah, nice ... but after the overdrive was kicked in and you starting setting up chords with those beautiful ideas .... you had me hooked ...

These kind of tones just a little too frequency rich for my ears ...
but your note choice and phrasing were wonderful ...

A great thanks and a welcome to TGP JB ...

Thanks for telling me Hottub!

That link doesn't seem to be working anymore, for some strange reason.
Here is an other link, that will take you to the musicpage;
it's the first song on top.
Hope this works.

No, getting an error message.

That works much better and what everybody else said. I love the OD tone and killer lines. Is the OD the PAB switched on?

Thanks guys for the warm welcome!!

This D'Lite is a 22W amp with 6L6's in them, and the PAB was switched off.
It has a Skyliner and bass mod on board, thanks to Scott Lerner.
My EV12L tends to sound rather thin in its Boogie cabinet, so the bass mod works quite well.
They say tone is in the hands, but having a great responsive amp sure helps my playing, because for the first time I can reproduce the sound that I hear in my head.
Having so many monster players on this Forum also helps a lot!
Great backings inspire as well, now where did I leave that Toots Brazilian Groove again?
