Does anyone has this effect on his board???
I want some opinion of it...
(I'm talking about this one: DSD-2 (http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.uy/MLU-6788702-pedal-digital-sampler-delay-dsd-2-marca-boss-_JM) )

I like it. DSD-2 is early digital delay technology. It has a very warm sounding delay for a digital pedal. I believe it rolls off some of the higher frequencies on the delay sound. It self oscillates and can do some great pitch shifting effects. It also has the trigger input that allows you to repeat a sampled sound to the beat of a drum machine. It does not compete with modern delays if you want the features like tap tempo, modulation delay, stereo output, etc.

i agree with the above; the delay is very nice and warm for a digital delay, hard to describe... it's not like a DD-3, where each repeat is exactly like the last, but it's not even remotely a 'analog voiced' type delay. think of it as 1st generation digital delay, that is trying it's best, sweating to reproduce those repeats. it oscillates very nicely too. never fooled around with the trigger, but i imagine it would be awesome for electronic music production.

I bought one of these banged up for $30 in 93, it does roll off highs and is a nice sounding box. I use it in my loop as faux tape delay until I can afford something better.
Its sampling and looping are limited but do work for short samples

Hah!! remember buying one brand new, and the sales dude just couldn't understand why I wanted the DS(ampler)D instead of the regular digital delay that had an 'infinite hold' feature instead of 'trigger/sample'.
I was way into looping at the time (still am), and triggered the DSD-2 with a Korg drum machine (although a handclap thru' a mic'll do, too). Can't do a whole lot with 800 milleseconds, but I had a blast w/the thing!
When I got a DigiTech 8 second sampler/delay pedal (and a better drum machine!) I dumped it at the pawn shop for next to nothing.
Should've kept it - but I REALLY SHOULD HAVE KEPT the BOSS analog delay I traded off when I picked up the DSD!!

I believe it has the same much admired delay chip as the DD2. There was a DSD3 too, but I'm not sure what (if anything) was different about it. It might be like the DD3 is to the DD2.

Thanks a lot !!!
It seems to be a nice effect.
But, one more thing... what do you think about the price? (here DSD-2 (http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.uy/MLU-6788702-pedal-digital-sampler-delay-dsd-2-marca-boss-_JM))
the guy is asking me for U$S 100. You have to understand that here (in Uruguay) this things are more expensive..
I found a few in ebay:U$S 70 and U$S 150.
