The Swart 6v6se (and Swart amps in general) get talked about quite a bit around here. I have a 6v6se and I used it quite a bit on my bands new CD. So I thought I'd post it here just in case anyone wanted to hear this amazing little tone monster.

I love this amp!

Check out the song called Sick. The track was recorded using an American Tele Deluxe > Swart 6v6se set at around 2 o'clock. This song isn't mastered yet.

I hope you enjoy it!

Hey, thanks for listening and the nice comments, guys.

I just listened to the clips of the "big Swart" / SST30?? All I can say is WOW!!!! I may have to re-think my current gig rig.

Sounds really good. And I like the song as well.
How does the amp like humbuckers? More drive and grit?

I enjoyed the tunes and the tones. What amp is used on Innocence and Fear? The female vocalist on Sick reminds me a little of Bif Naked.

If I remember correctly that is with HB'ers! But the amp wasn't cranked by any means. Gets totally old school. The more you crank it, the more drive and grit for sure. If you turn it full up with HB'ers it's starts to sound like a fuzz pedal. Really cool.

The CD isn't out yet. It's slated for mastering next Friday.

Yep, I think Jenny (our singer) is pretty amazing too. Thanks. I'll pass that along to her.

The amp on Innocence and Fear is a Fargen Bordeaux with el34's. I played it through a Top Hat 2x12 closed back cab with a Weber Blue Dog and Silver Bell. Both ceramic. We mic'ed the Blue Dog. I hit the amp with a Div By 13 Dyna Ranger for the lead. That Dyna Ranger is one pedal I will never sell!

I'm going have to google Bif Naked.

Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the kinds words! I'll be sure to pass them along to the rest of the band.

It's very gratifying to know that there are some people out there that like what we're doing.

Thanks for the info. I liked the tones on both songs, but the setup on Innocence and Fear was just great. Bif Naked's website is here:

I'm not that familiar with her music, but thought her album "I Bificus" was very good.

OK, I googled her. Wasn't she a judge on some battle of the bands show on TV?

I don't know; if so, I didn't see it.
