here's a clip of a show from last friday with a local artist that i play for.

the light is bad, but it caught the tone fairly well.

clean up to about 1:00, then is use an rhe.

also, i should add that i was using TAD 6L6's.

Damn! That is some really "FAT and SWEET TONE" you are getting
out of the AST with the TAD 6L6's! Are you using any overdrive
pedal to bump the AST with or is that all the AST!

What pedals if any or you using to get the VIBE-LIKE TONES
that I am hearing! I have a set of JJ-6L6's that I am going to
pop in my AST! I like the 6V6's but I know from having 6l6's
in other amps what a difference they can make!

Great Song on the VIDEO!!!:dude

Great playing, very inspired!

I think I saw in eBow there, and the tag says "eternity lovepedal"

wow...thanks for all the kind words. really appreciate it.

it's just an eternity roadhouse...

as for vibe, i'm assuming you mean more of a strict vibrato type of sound. i was just bending the neck to get a slight detuning effect. i probably do it a bit too much, but i like it. eventually, i'm sure a neck will break and i'll have to rethink that technique...but til then...!

That was some sweet and wacky playing for sure! Not what I was expecting to hear when I saw the clothes! I really dug that. All kinds of coolness going on in that clip.

ha! despite all appearances to the contrary, this isn't actually my country band. this guy is AAA for sure. for whatever reason he wanted us to all wear cowboy hats for this show. i can't wear a cowboy hat without my full-on country stage clothes, so he may have gotten more than he bargained for.

Got to chime in as well, I was kind of mesmerized. Loved the song, your tone, and the intensity, straight from the heart. Great playing!

wow guys...i don't really know what to say. thanks so much for the kind words.

right now, i'm running the short bottles. prior to this i was running SED Wing'd c's and really liked the bass response and headroom, but these TAD's have a very interesting compression that i'm really digging. i feel like i'm interacting a lot more with the amp's tone with the TAD's. i'm going to order replacement SED's (they only lasted about 15 shows???) and long bottle TAD's, but i have to make sure they'll fit.
